Retina Engrave 3 can run on all types of operating systems as long as they have access to a modern web browser. Linux, Mac, Windows, or even mobile devices running iOS or Android.
To connect you first want to ensure your laser is connected to Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The device you wish to open Retina Engrave on should be on the same network.
It can be accessed by inputting the provided address in the blue bar displayed on your laser's touchscreen into the address field on your browser. It will be an IP or alternatively our fsl.local/ link, both will be specific to the machine itself. You can also use the provided QR code to connect using a QR reading application.
The RE3 mobile app will then appear in your mobile browser as so:
Icons for machine specific functions will appear to be missing if it is not available on your machine. They can also be greyed out if unavailable or simply not in use at the moment.
Your machine's gantry movement can be controlled from this page.
You can see the controls for the available axes here. The Y will be greyed out for any Galvo. While the R, for Rotary, will only be lit if the rotary function is enabled. Hitting the grey arrow in the corner here provides detailed adjustments.
Below that we have a number of other functions:
This controls the gantry's jog speed between fast and slow. You will also notice the >> arrows on the directional controls above will change.

The Toggles button pulls up a menu on the left side of the screen. The options here differ between CNC and Galvo machines.

Similarly to the Toggles option, the More pulls up a different menu on the left side of the screen which also has differing options depending on machine type.

This lets you upload media from the current device to whatever your last selected project was in the workspace.

Then your standard job controls.

In order: Wi-Fi Connection, Ethernet Connection, Gantry Lock, Rotary, Lid Sensor, Water Sensor, Air Assist, Exhaust Fan.
