Wiring the CoBot Arm Up To Your FSL-Welder

Attaching Wires to the Relay:

  1. Connect NO1 and COM1:
    • Attach a wire to the NO1 terminal on the relay.
    • Attach another wire to the COM1 terminal on the relay.

2.    Connect DC+ and DC-:

  • Connect a wire to the DC+ terminal on the relay.
  • Connect another wire to the DC- terminal on the relay.

Wiring on the Welder Side:

  1. Connect NO1 to the Welder:
    • Connect the wire from NO1 on the relay to Pin 10 of the welder’s 12-pin interface.
  2. Connect COM1 to the Welder:
    • Connect the wire from COM1 on the relay to Pin 9 of the welder’s 12-pin interface.
  3. Bridge Pin 11 and Pin 12:
    • Use a single wire to connect Pin 11 and Pin 12 on the welder’s 12-pin interface.

Wiring on the Robot Arm Controller:

  1. Connect DC+ to the Controller:
    1. Connect the wire from the DC+ terminal on the relay to the 24V port on the robot arm controller.
  2. Connect DC- to the Controller:
    1. Connect the wire from the DC- terminal on the relay to the GND port on the robot arm controller.
  3. Connect IN1 to the Controller:
    1. Connect the wire from the IN1 terminal on the relay to the DOO port on the robot arm controller.

  • Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and match the corresponding ports or pins.
  • Refer to the device manuals for additional details or diagrams if needed.
  • Use appropriate wire gauges and insulation to maintain safety and functionality.
  • Test the system after wiring to verify proper operation before finalizing installation.
