RE5 USB Head Mounted Camera + LiDAR for Gantry Lasers
SKU: RE5-HEADCAM-LIDAR
A head-mounted USB camera and a triangulation laser focus sensor in one bracket — designed by FSL to drop straight onto your Titan or FSL Pro Laser and light up the new RE5 vision + Camera-Based LiDAR features.
What's in the kit
- High-quality low-light USB camera with custom low-distortion lens — designed for shop lighting (no external ring light or work-lamp required) and engineered specifically for stitched bed-overview workflows so straight lines stay straight edge-to-edge.
- Visible red laser for triangulation autofocus — pairs with RE5's Camera-Based LiDAR feature for 0.1 mm focus accuracy across the bed.
- Head mounting bracket — precision-machined for the Muse Titan and the FSL Pro Laser (P-Series) head. Bolts on with no head modifications.
- USB cable, mounting hardware, and quick-start guide for the RE5 setup wizard.
What it does
- Stitched head-mounted camera view — RE5 stitches frames as your gantry moves, giving you a high-resolution overview of the entire bed (under 0.2 mm placement accuracy).
- Camera-Based LiDAR autofocus — the red triangulation laser projects onto the workpiece; RE5 reads its pixel position and computes head-to-material distance to 0.1 mm.
- Surface mapping for warped or curved stock — per-pixel Z mapping for 3D relief jobs.
- Material verification — catch lifted sheets and confirm thickness before the laser fires.
