The Coaxial Camera views along the exact same optical path as the laser beam, providing a magnified, distortion-free view of the work surface with precise laser placement accuracy down to 2 micrometers.
How It Works
Unlike external overview cameras that view the workspace from an angle, the coaxial camera looks through the galvo mirrors themselves. This means what the camera sees is exactly where the laser will fire — no parallax, no perspective distortion, no calibration drift.

- Liquid Lens Autofocus — Electronically adjustable focus with no moving parts. Real-time focusing compensates for optical path differences
- 3D Measurement Capability — When the image is in focus, the laser is in focus. Use focus distance to measure surface height for true 3D processing
- Zero Parallax — Viewing through the galvo mirrors eliminates all angular distortion
- Large Magnified View — See fine details on the workpiece that external cameras cannot resolve
- Works with True 3D Galvo — Especially powerful with True 3D Dynamic Galvo systems where there is no f-theta lens to distort the coaxial view
