TV Sign Board
Leave someone a note with the Tell-ivision sign board.

- Safety First: Ensure workspace is free of fire, electrical and other safety hazards. Be aware of all safety issues when cutting materials with a laser. Always have a fire extinguisher on hand
- Power on the laser and all of its components.
- Ensure that:
- The laser is powered and the boot up cycle begins on the screen.
- The cooling system is connected properly and water is flowing through the tube.
- The air compressor is powered and exhausting air to the laser head.
- The exhaust system is on and vented into a safe location. - Connect to RetinaEngrave 2.0 software using your machine’s touch screen to copy the software IP address into your favorite browser. The Wired IP address is displayed at the bottom of your touch screen.
- Import your design and adjust power and speed settings. Double check settings including the number of passes and cut order.
- Insert material into the laser bed. Use the focus tool to adjust to the top of the material. Focusing should be done each time a new material is introduced.
- Use the “Perimeter” function to ensure that the file will fit within the cutting area. Adjust accordingly.
- Run the job file. Do not leave a job running unattended.
CUT
Import the included files and cut all the pieces from their respective materials. This file contains vector cuts, vector markings, and rasters.
First we will start with the TV Sign Boards stand by finding these three pieces.
After placing the side panels into the largest cross bracket we will locate the next bottom cross bracket and put it in place.
Lastly we will want to insert the two cross brackets on the front face of the stand. Now that the stand is done we can move on to the TV Sign Board.
Start by putting the TV panel front side down. Now you can glue the white board to the back along with the antennas.
After the glue is set you can flip it over to glue on the buttons to the front.
Now you can assemble the turn dials. Simply stack and glue them on top of the vector markings.
Turning the project facedown again we will want to glue down the white bracket. Make sure that the white circles line up straight and evenly, but do not glue the circles in place.
Then from the front side you will glue the small cut circles on top of the white circles that sit unglued from the other side.
Now glue your knobs on top of that circle as center as possible. The buttons should be free to twist.
Once that is done you will want to glue these two pieces together like so.
From the back you will want to set this piece wood part down.
Finally carefully glue the last white piece along the small edge to the main white bracket.
Well Done!
